Samsung has announced that eight of its devices are now compatible with the One UI 7 interface. This announcement follows the UI launch on the Galaxy S25 earlier this year.
Devices that support the One UI 7 Beta include the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy A55, Galaxy Tab S10 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. Users interested in trying the Beta version can register through the Samsung Membership app.
For now, the One UI 7 Beta is initially available for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 users in India, South Korea, the UK, and the United States. The program has been accessible since March 6, 2025, and Samsung has confirmed plans to expand it to more devices within the same month, as reported by Samsung News Room on Thursday (March 13, 2025).
New Features in One UI 7
One UI 7 introduces several new features and enhancements to improve the user experience. Here are some key highlights:
1. Now Bar
One UI 7 introduces the "Now Bar," a pill-shaped widget on the lock screen that uses machine learning. This widget displays information from active apps, such as a music player or stopwatch, and provides quick actions like skip or pause.
2. Enhanced Notifications
Users can access notifications by swiping down on the screen. Swiping right opens the quick settings menu, while swiping left reveals two additional menu options. The notification bar is now thicker with more spacing between elements. The number of quick setting buttons has also increased from 20 to 24.
3. Improved Visuals and Lock Screen Options
One UI 7 introduces a brighter color palette for notifications and quick settings. Additionally, users get more widget options for the lock screen, including weather and battery status.
4. Notification Filtering
Users can now filter notifications based on their appearance time, including those from previous days or apps running in the background. The filtering option is accessible below the regular notifications.

5. Official Release of Good Lock
The Good Lock app is now officially available in One UI 7 after previously being limited to specific markets. Good Lock allows users to arrange icons and widgets freely without a grid, save videos directly to storage via USB-C, add stickers, customize app icons, and manually organize apps.
6. More Flexible Charging Settings
One UI 7 also introduces new charging options, such as limiting battery charging under certain conditions or adjusting charging patterns based on the user's sleep schedule. With these improvements, One UI 7 offers a more personalized and intuitive experience for Samsung device users.
