Don't be surprised to open Twitter! This is why Elon Musk changed the bird logo to X

Cianjurekspres - Twitter users will no longer see the legendary blue bird logo, as Elon Musk has changed the logo to an "X". Apparently this is the reason. Elon Musk announced that he would change the iconic blue bird logo to an 'X'. Not only that, the Tesla owner also plans to rename his social media platform, Twitter, to the letter "X". Musk revealed this through his personal Twitter account @elonmusk on Saturday night, (07/22/2023). "If the X logo is good enough to upload tonight, we will broadcast it around the world tomorrow," the Tesla and SpaceX boss tweeted.

Then on Monday, July 24, 2023 the X Twitter logo officially launched replacing the bird logo aka 'Larry the Bird'. Suddenly, this change became a hot topic of conversation on social media, especially Twitter.

Apparently Musk changed the Twitter logo in order to update the application's image. In fact, not only the logo, later Twitter will switch to the website version. Thus users who type X.com can immediately switch to the Twitter website. "X.com now leads to https://twitter.com/," Elon Musk wrote in a tweet.

Why the Twitter Logo Changed from Bird to 'X"

Twitter made one big impression and changed the way we communicate. Now, X will go further, changing the global town square." Musk said. In addition, the new Twitter CEO, Linda Yaccarino said that X means going further. X also means existing in transforming the global town square. "X is the future state of seamless interactivity - a focus on audio, video, messaging, payments/banking creating a global marketplace for ideas, goods, services and opportunities," Linda said via her Twitter account. "Powered by AI, X will connect us all in ways we've only begun to imagine."

Linda also appreciated the fans and critics who have encouraged Twitter to dream bigger and innovate faster. X's existence, she said, has begun to be seen since the last 8 months through the launch of various features that will be released in the near future.
