The M6 World Championship 2024, held in Malaysia from November 21 to December 15, has officially ended. This year’s biggest Mobile Legends tournament was won by Fnatic ONIC PH from the Philippines, solidifying their dominance with five consecutive M-series titles. In this competition, strategy played a critical role, especially in hero selection.

Hero selection, from the Wildcard phase to the Grand Finals, was one of the key aspects in building a strong team performance. Numerous META heroes became go-to picks for professional players during the tournament. Here are the most popular heroes frequently chosen in the M6 World Championship 2024.
 

1. Suyou (93 Picks)

Suyou takes the top spot as the favorite jungler hero throughout the tournament. Despite receiving a nerf in the latest Mobile Legends update, Suyou remained a preferred choice due to his consistent damage output from the early to late game. Suyou was picked 93 times by pro players, recording a win rate of 55.91%.

2. Bruno (72 Picks)

As the most favored marksman in M6, Bruno stood out as a highly popular choice. This hero boasts massive damage and critical attacks. The rework of the Malefic Gun item made Bruno even more powerful, adding 15% attack range to his basic attacks and enhancing penetration power. Bruno was used 72 times during the tournament and achieved a win rate of 55.56%.

3. Hylos (71 Picks)

Hylos, a versatile tank hero, was often played in two positions: EXP laner and roamer. With exceptional crowd control abilities and high durability, Hylos became a reliable option in team fights. His ultimate skill boosts movement speed for allies while slowing down enemies, making him a popular pick with 71 selections. However, his win rate was relatively low, standing at 38.03%.

 

4. Chou (69 Picks)

Chou, one of the most versatile fighters, also became a fan favorite in M6. In addition to being effective in the EXP lane, Chou was frequently played as a roamer during the tournament. His strengths lie in his durability and his ultimate skill, which is crucial for controlling enemy movements. Chou was picked 69 times, achieving a win rate of 58.82%.

5. Joy (58 Picks)

Joy emerged as one of the deadliest junglers in M6. Relying on her magic damage and exceptional mobility, Joy posed a significant challenge to opponents. Her second skill generates beat energy, which activates her ultimate, granting immunity, increased movement speed, and enhanced damage output. Joy was picked 58 times, with a win rate of 52.54%.
