Transjakarta Collab with Google Maps, Tracking Buses is Enough with A Smartphone

Transjakarta (PT Transportasi Jakarta) is working with the leading search engine company, Google, to develop features on Google Maps to make it easier for passengers to see the position of the bus. In addition, with this new feature passengers can see Transjakarta bus route info. Welfizon Yuzha, Managing Director of Transjakarta, said that the company is currently overhauling its information technology department.

This overhaul is done as a form of service improvement so that Transjakarta can provide the best for loyal passengers. “Yesterday we have tidied up the data so that people can now track the position of the bus in the Google Maps application,” said Welfizon. Welfizon also added, “In the near future, stay tuned for more complete information and features, which will soon appear in the new Apps.
