Latest WhatsApp Update, Adds Feature to Create and Share Custom Sticker Packs

Latest WhatsApp Update, Adds Feature to Create and Share Custom Sticker Packs

WhatsApp is introducing a new feature in the 2.25.4.18 update through the Google Play Beta Program, allowing users to create and share custom sticker packs. This feature is now available to some beta testers!

The new feature would have made it easier for users to organize their sticker collections by creating personalized packs directly within WhatsApp, rather than cluttering up the favorites section with individual stickers. It seems that WhatsApp is now testing this feature with some beta users.

Create and Share Custom Sticker Packs

According to WA Beta Info, WhatsApp has introduced the ability to create and share custom sticker packs in its latest update. Some beta testers now have the option to create new sticker packs directly from a sticker in a chat. By tapping on a sticker, users can add it to either a new pack or an existing one they've already created. Once a sticker is added to a new pack, users can assign a name to the pack and include the first sticker.

This feature provides a simple and efficient way for users to build personalized sticker collections without needing third-party apps. WhatsApp also allows users to add multiple stickers to a pack at once using a bulk option. This was introduced with the WhatsApp beta 2.24.16.9 update, making it easier to add several stickers at the same time, saving time for users with large sticker collections.

Organize and Manage Your Stickers Easily

After creating a sticker pack, it will be added to the personal collection, where users can manage it, add new stickers, or remove any stickers as desired. Users can update their packs by adding new stickers and keeping the collection organized. Additionally, users have the option to rename their sticker packs at any time, allowing them to adjust themes or correct errors in the pack names.

This feature also enables users to share their custom sticker packs with others. Once a pack is created, users can share it with contacts, groups, and channels, allowing others to easily import the pack into their own collections. Unlike before, when users had to send individual stickers or rely on third-party apps, now recipients can add the entire pack with just two taps.

Sharing sticker packs is also completely private, as no user information is linked to the pack. Even if the pack is shared further, no one will know who created it or see the phone number of the original user.

The ability to create and share custom sticker packs is currently available to some beta testers who install the latest WhatsApp beta for Android updates from the Google Play Store, with plans to roll out to more users in the coming weeks.
