Samsung has just unveiled the Galaxy S25, packed with innovative new features, including increasingly sophisticated artificial intelligence (AI). During the Galaxy AI for Content Creator event, Samsung introduced a range of AI-powered tools in the Galaxy S25 Series, specifically designed to support content creators.

"According to a survey, 74 percent of users find these AI features highly beneficial in improving the quality and efficiency of their creative process," said Associate Director of Kantar Indonesia, Ummu Hanni, in Jakarta on Thursday (February 6, 2025).

Key AI Features of Samsung Galaxy S25

Here are some of the standout AI features available in the Galaxy S25 lineup:

Enhanced Image Quality: AI automatically optimizes resolution and image details.
Auto-Trim for Videos: Automatically trims videos to speed up the editing process.
AI as a Creative Partner: Helps generate new ideas and simplifies the editing workflow.

According to Kantar’s research, most digital users in Indonesia already utilize AI for creative purposes.

In content production, AI in the Galaxy S25 plays a role at various stages. For instance, Gemini assists in brainstorming creative ideas, while Gemini Live enables users to quickly find inspiration from references.

Additionally, Samsung device owners can benefit from Note Assist, which automatically takes notes, summarizes meetings, and converts them into ready-to-use scripts.

"Samsung has also made significant AI improvements compared to previous series, introducing a total of 22 new and upgraded AI features, especially for content creation," said Ilham Indrawan, Senior MX Product Marketing.

Ilham explained that the various updates in the Galaxy S25 Series are designed to support content creators and simplify the creative process for users of all backgrounds.

"There’s an auto-trim feature that makes video editing more practical, and an upgraded ultra-wide camera for sharper photos—perfect for Gen Z," he added.

With these innovations, the Samsung Galaxy S25 is not just a communication device but also a powerful tool for creators to produce high-quality content with ease.

Receives a 24GB Firmware Update

Although the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series is not yet widely available, the device has already received a major firmware update weighing 24GB.

According to Phone Arena on Tuesday (February 3, 2025), this update is significantly larger than the initial update for the Galaxy S24, which was only around 14GB. One likely reason is the introduction of One UI 7, bringing numerous AI-driven features.

During the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung highlighted how AI and exclusive features like Gemini will deliver a new experience for users.

However, not all changes have been positively received. Some users have criticized the removal of Bluetooth on the S Pen and the new camera design.

New Features vs. User Expectations

Some aspects of the Galaxy S25 that users find disappointing include:

No significant hardware upgrades.
RAM and storage capacity remain the same as the previous generation.

Despite this, the Galaxy S25 still brings some noteworthy improvements, such as:
