Canva Acquires Leonardo.Ai to Enhance Generative Ai Features.

Millionaire graphic design platform Canva has finally acquired Australian AI startup Leonardo.Ai. Canva has announced their business decision on the official Canva website on Tuesday.

Canva's goal in making this acquisition of Leonardo.Ai is to improve Canva's existing AI technology. This allows Canva to integrate Leonardo.Ai's video and image creation models into Canva's own products.

Cameron Adams, Chief Product Officer of Canva said that both parties agreed to keep the value of the Leonardo.Ai acquisition confidential. The deal includes a mix of cash and stock.

Cameron also added that all Leonardo.Ai employees will join the Canva team including the company's executives. However, Leonardo.Ai will operate independently with a focus on innovation, research and development, supported by Canva's resources.

By joining Leonardo.Ai and Canva, the company can provide graphic design tools and solutions designed by Leonardo.Ai in the future.
